The network of Ley Lines that criss-cross the Perseus System make interplanetary travel possible–spacecraft follow the path that the Ley Lines create, much like a train on a track. The mana concentrated in the Ley Lines is used as an energy source to propel space-faring vessels at near-light-speeds, drastically reducing the travel-time in between planets.

Still, travel between the Verge and the Lumina worlds can take up to a week, depending on how the path is routed. The physical distance between the three regions of the Perseus System (the Lumina, Gloaming, and Verge) furthered the formation of distinct cultural differences between their populations.
